Do you like presenting information? (why or why not)
- I sometimes like presenting and sometimes I don’t. I like presenting information so I can give new information to my peers, in case they don’t have it. And sometimes I get lazy and I do not wish to go up in front of my class, because even though I’m not shy, it still gets over-whelming up there.
What do you think are the key elements in a good speech?
- Good key elements in a good speech are, good posture, good eye contact, you have to be good at public speaking, you shouldn’t really be shy, and to just be relaxed when you deliver your speech.
What is difference between giving a speech about something you enjoy as opposed to something that you do not enjoy?
- The difference when giving a speech about something you enjoy, as opposed to something that you do not enjoy is, that when you give a speech about something you enjoy, you become more relaxed, because you like the topic that is give, so it makes it more durable when you speak. When you talk about something that you dislike, it makes it more difficult to stand up there and be comfortable to freely talk about your subject.
Why do you believe power point is a helpful tool to use for presentations?
- A power point is helpful, because people can see what you are talking about, there are visual aides, and it makes the audience want to pay attention to your power point. It makes sitting there more durable.
When do you think you will be using power point after high school?
- I think I will be using power point in my work, and when ever I will be giving a presentation that requires visual aid.
